Hotel EdeR FriDa
The quirky family hotel, EdeR FriDa in Maria Alm at Hochkönig, lives in accordance with the motto “a love of adventure”. There is plenty to discover here for young and old alike. The open, kaleidoscopic house is anything but normal; from the parrots, Fritz and Winnie, to a theatre with a cinema screen and a “garden world” featuring a flying fox, tree house and suspension bridge. Behind every corner lies a new experience, sure to appeal to active families. Throughout the day, the area around Hochkönig offers a range of opportunities for sport – with expansive hikes in summer and the Salzburg region’s largest ski spot in winter, right at EdeR FriDa‘s front door. The hotel boasts a range of attractions and programmes: dive into the water at TaNte FriDa’s swimming paradise, with an 80-metre-long adventure slide, or painting and bowling in the play area with the childcare and activity programme. And while parents enjoy their desserts in peace, kids can roam through the huge Jungle King adventure world. With 80 rooms, the quirky house offers seven different categories including Jungle, Circus and Outer Space, with plenty of room for a vibrant stay together. Children have plenty of space for playing and sleeping in the Open Space rooms, while the grown-ups enjoy a private wellness spot in addition to a large sleeping area in some accommodations. And here’s the best bit: breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner, together with soft drinks, are all included with every overnight stay.
