Tenuta di Fra'
Welcome to the Tenuta di Fra’, run by Franziska Ganthaler. The South Tyrolean’s wine estate is just a stone’s throw from her picturesque “Suites&Breakfast” Poggio Antico, located in Italy’s region of Marche. An incredible 7 hectares dedicated to organic winegrowing, Franziska rolled up her sleeves and, guided by her passion for wine and her family’s support, manages the estate yielding the autochthonous grape variety Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi and Lacrima di Morro d’Alba. Wine is not all you can purchase here; in fact, visitors can also opt for the “Sleep among the vineyards” and “Be a winegrower for a day” offers. Tempting, is it not?
Guests can enjoy a romantic outdoor dinner, and feast on plenty of delicacies washed down with a glass of outstanding wine, all set against the backdrop of the starry night and the peace and quiet of the surrounding vineyards. After a night spent sleeping outside under the stars, awaken to the warmth of the first rays of sunshine caressing your face. Who knew sleeping outside could be beautiful? Well, and a bit cheesy. But the good type of cheesy. Franziska Ganthaler will then pamper guests with cappuccinos and croissants in the nearby Poggio Antico during a unique barefoot breakfast.
